Volunteering at the fair

Randy pointed out that I hadn't been posting lately so I thought better get to it. I volunteered for Planned Parenthood at the fair on Wednesday. I was really apprehensive but it wasn't as bad as I initially thought. The most off the wall comment was from a pregnant lady. Our first job was to ask "are you pro-choice?" and if they said no then just say "have a good time at the fair." Anyways, so I ask that to the lady and she goes "Obviously not!" in a "duh" tone. I didn't say anything in response but I was talking to a guy volunteering and he said "well she chose to have the baby" and I like that line of thought. I am not anti-baby or pro-death. I just don't want somebody to make reproductive choices for me. Overall, the fair experience was good, there were a lot of people saying thanks to us for being out there and getting the word out on the Million Strong Campaign (trying to mobilize pro-choice voters.)
